Jalan Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur.
This post-modem styled 13-storey 3-star hotel consist of 90 rooms, possess a unique entrance façade which is accentuated with a vertical curtain walling.
It is located on a very tight site which was originally a bungalow lot. The site itself become a challenge, for example, in the aspects of fulfilling car parking requirements and its functional layout as a hotel. The site is also facing backward away from the main Syed Putra highway. The architectural treatment has also address the issue of creating the hotel's presence from the highway.
The curtain walling provides the suite rooms a panoramic view of the adjacent landscape. The vertical entrance façade is interfaced with the horizontal play of coping detail to form a harmonious entity.
The entrance plan is addressed with a quadrant to emphasise the point of arrival and also to differentiate its importance from the rest of the area.
Planter boxes with creeping plants on the other two facades serves to soften the building structure.
Due to land constraint, parking at the basement is accommodated with mechanical parking.
Other facilities includes a cafetaria, a restaurant, a health centre, a business centre and others to qualify it as a 3-star hotel.
