MAIK  Tower

Evocation of Islamic Architecture in the design which suit its function as office tower for Majlis Agama Islam Kedah.

 

The most obvious design element in this building are the unique shape of the domes.  Domes are given a new interpretation to establish a dramatic appearance.

 

Sun shading grille in the form of Islamic geometry pattern not just avoiding direct penetration of sunlight but enlighten the facades as well. 

 

Landscaped terrace and courtyard are located at the back of the building which is adjacent to the river to attract people to the site as the river will become an alternative route to approach the tower
