Founder and Chairman of the company, Ar Hj Fazillah Mohd Ali was born in Yan, Kedah in 1958. Graduated at the Architectural Association of London in 1985. He established Arkitek FAA in 1986 as a sole proprietor practice.

Steering the firm to great heights, he leads in design and project managed a number of mega developments such as the National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil that hosts the XI Commonwealth Games KL 1998 that comprise the major Sporting Arenas in the country, and he was also instrumental in the design of the major institutional projects such as the International Islamic Univeristy Malaysia (IIUM) in Gombak, University Technology Malaysia, Polytechnic Seberang Prai, and LADA Headquarters in Langkawi.

He has been awarded the Bintang Khidmat Masyarakat(BKM) by the Sultan of Kedah for exellence in contribution to community. In 2002, he set up AFAA PTY LTD in Australia and was actively involved in architectural and development projects there.

Nor Hisham Hasan headed the design office when he joined FAA in 1995 and was appointed as the Managing Director when FAA was incorporated. Graduated from the University of North London, Hisham has over 20 years of experience in the architectural practices. Hisham had his career in London working with TP Bennett Partnership and Chetwood Green Architects, which in both firms, he was responsible for the

major design and construction documentatioNs of retail and offices developments. Back in Kuala Lumpur, Hisham gained enormous hands-on experiences in different offices from small to large practices in a wide range of project types and responsibilities. Among others is the Maxis Tower Project in Jalan Ampang, where he led the desIgn coordination team in collaboration with Kevin Roach John Dinkerloo Architects of the US.

 

At FAA, Hisham initiates concept designs and reviews the outcomes through to implementations. Having completed a number of universities and security facilities, he had developed a forte in designing such projects. He had also initiated and led the company for Quality Management ISO 9001:2008 certification by Moody International.

1973 Melaka born, Arin received her Bachelor (Hons) in Architecture from Manchester Metropolitan University before completing her double degree with Bachelor of Architecture from Manchester School of Architecture, Manchester. Arin is a Corporate Member and a Registered Professional Architect at the Malaysian Institute of Architects and the Board of Architects Malaysia respectively.

 

Having trained at various architectural practices more than a decade with exposures at all levels, Arin has developed forte in project and contract management.

 

Arin is currently responsible for the management of Authority Compliance, Contract Documentation and Contract Administration. Green awareness, Arin is also at final stage of completing professional qualifications as Green Building Index (GBI) Facilitator, Malaysia.

British born Hafiz Fazillah was educated in Australia where he graduated with First Class Honours and attained Master of Architecture with High Distinction from the University of Western Australia. He commenced practice with Sasha Ivanovich Architects before joining Cox Architecture where he played an integral role in the design team. International Exposure was crucial to his development as an Architect before retuning to Malaysia as an Associate Architect for AFAA.

 

He has received numerous awards for his commitment to design and was recently awarded the Top 30 Architects under the age of 40, by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia PAM. He has been involved in a wide range of international projects, such as Security Oriented Developments,

Residential and Mixed Use, Educational, and Research and Development facilities. Most notable recent involvement is being apart of the successful winning entry for Malaysia Primier BioXcell Biotechnology Park. Hafiz is responsible for the concept design and design development produced by the Office,

Sulaiman Pinyee has been with Arkitek FAA Sdn Bhd since April 1994. He obtained his Degree in Architecture from School of Architecture, University of East London, United

Kingdom in 1992. He has than working as an architect with few other architectural firms before joining Arkitek FAA Sdn Bhd in 1994.

He has involved in various types of project ranging from private houses to national government project. In 1998, he involved in National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil as the
venue for the 1998 Commonwealth Games. Other projects, he involved include commercials, shop office, universities, government building and so forth.
Currently, Sulaiman is one of the Project Director in Arkitek FAA Sdn Bhd overseeing some of the on going projects
besides handling few project directly under his supervision.
