The masterplan was conceived as an Islamic middle esteemed township such as Fez and Cairo.  The masterplan was done in collaboration with Rasem Badran, the renowned Jordanian architect.  It is essentially an international mega campus design which promotes the integration of different buildings by means of a common continuous circulation spine.
